One of my long-term foreign policy goals is to support the peaceful unification of North and South Korea through a structured, international cash buyout that transitions the North from totalitarian control to constitutional democracy. This plan would involve billions of dollars in upfront investment—used to provide food, infrastructure, and economic stabilization—but it would pay for itself within a few years by ending famine, reducing military tensions, and unlocking the agricultural potential of the North. With food independence restored and political oppression dismantled, the Korean Peninsula could emerge as a unified, self-reliant, and peaceful republic. This is not just a humanitarian mission—it’s a strategic investment in global security, stability, and prosperity.
