Our critical infrastructure—power grids, water systems, transportation networks—relies on programmable devices like PLCs (programmable logic controllers) that must be secure from foreign interference. My goal is to ensure that all such components used in American infrastructure are manufactured entirely within the United States. By bringing production home, we can prevent the risk of embedded malware, hidden backdoors, and cyberattacks from hostile nations. This isn’t just a matter of jobs—it’s a matter of national defense. I will fight for legislation that protects our infrastructure by rebuilding our domestic manufacturing base and securing the technological backbone of America.
